How Does ACI’s Automated Rent Collection Work?

When entering the lease or rent contract, tenants authorize ACI to electronically deduct rent and late fees from their bank account(s). ACI’s automated data system will collect rents due on the 1st of each month for any and all Landlord tenants. ACI’s data system will automatically attempt to collect up until the 5th of each month where after late fees would be imposed. Upon clearing of funds, Landlord bank accounts are credited immediately. Landlords are able to print comprehensive accounting reports at anytime and are available fordownload on-line.

Where late fees or rent remains uncollected, Landlords can pre-program ACI’s data system to take any of the following actions:

Mail a late notice and payment reminder;
Mail a three (3) day notice to pay or quit;
Mail a thirty (30) day notice to vacate.
