Services for the single parent trying to collect child support or alimony payments include:
Asset location -"if" the party responsible to pay child support or alimony has expressed an inability to pay, ACI
will allocate the resources to locate income or assets which may be sufficient to satisfy the court order and
provide you the money you need;
Collection of Child Support- upon locating the party responsible to pay child support or alimony, there is
no need for you to have any further unpleasant communications with the absentee parent. ACI will communicate
directly with the responsible party and collect the amount due as ordered by the court;
Investigation -"if" the partyresponsible to pay child support or alimony has skipped the city, county or state, or
is merely attempting to evade their court order responsibilities, ACI will allocate there sources to locate him/her
for you;
Enforcement -"if" the responsible party is working and/or has sufficient assets to pay you but is refusing to
cooperate and send you the money you need, ACI's lawyers will:
1) register your court order locally and in the appropriate state and county where the responsible party resides;
2) obtain a new court order (sometimes referred to as a Sister-State Judgment) and file same with the local
Marshall's office;
3) order the local Marshall's office to enforce a wage garnishment, seizure of assets or property, conduct a
Marshall's sale of property, and/or do all things necessary to obtain payment for you.
